Editorial personas
All named regional contributors are fictional editorial personas used to organize recurring cuisines, topics, and writing perspectives. Their profile narratives are editorial presentation, not biographies of identifiable people. They must not be treated as independent credentials or first-hand proof. Today’s Chef is responsible for what it publishes.
Use of AI and automation
Automated and generative tools may assist with topic research, outlines, drafts, editing suggestions, translations, metadata, diagrams, or images. Tool output can be incomplete or wrong, so the presence of a confident statement is not proof of accuracy.
Editorial standards
Drafts may undergo automated checks for usefulness, internal consistency, clear measurements and steps, unsupported claims, and obvious safety concerns, and are placed in an editorial review queue before publication. Where reliable external information is important, articles should identify or link useful sources. These checks reduce errors but do not guarantee that every article is error-free or personally tested in every kitchen.
Images
Some images may be generated or edited with AI and may be illustrative rather than a photograph of the exact finished recipe. Images should not be relied on for doneness, portion size, or food-safety decisions.
Corrections and feedback
We may revise articles when new information, testing, or reader feedback identifies a useful improvement. Report a material issue through the contact page and include the article URL, the disputed passage, and supporting detail.
